1. Mary Wanjau- The Founder and Chief Executive WanBeat Wellness Centre Ltd.
Mary is a Health Promotion consultant with 10 years experience in Wellness Program management in the workplace setting.
Her passion lies in transformation of lives and livelihoods through disease prevention, early detection, and prompt access to quality medical care and compliance to treatment, care and support.
Mary has studied Bachelor of Science in Nursing, completed a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi. She is currently pursuing PhD registration in Public Health, Health Promotion discipline. As part of PhD studies, I support the faculty and participate in lecturing at the School of Nursing sciences and School of Public Health, University of Nairobi.
Mary is passionate about giving back to society. Having been the Pioneer girl of the Equity Pre-University Leadership Program, she is a beneficiary of great mentorship and she uses this experience to participate in mentorship programs. She is also a volunteer at the Kenya Cancer Association, fighting Cancer through Awareness and advocacy.
Mary is a staunch christian. She acknowledges Christ as her Lord and Savior over her life and attributes all her success to the Almighty God.
2. Dr. Anne Njoroge (Mrs)
Anne brings a wealth of experience in population health research and program management, having worked as a technical advisor in various capacities in multiple USAID-funded HIV programs in Kenya .Her areas of expertise include monitoring and evaluation; program implementation and research; and health systems strengthening, with emphasis on preventive healthcare.
Dr. Njoroge has a medical degree from the University of Nairobi and a Masters in Epidemiology (Public Health) from the University of Washington, where she’s currently enrolled for her doctorate in Implementation Science & Metrics. She’s an awardee of the Fogarty Training Scholarship 2013 (IARTP).
3. Dr. Monique Eva Mucheru
Dr.Mucheru obtained her Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery from University of Nairobi in 2001 and a Master of Medicine (in Psychiatry) in 2006 from the same institution. She has been involved in clinical work in the areas of Community mental health & Forensic psychiatry. She& a volunteer nurse established Kamili Organization, a Non-governmental Organization in 2009. Kamili organization runs community mental health clinics and offers training opportunities for psychiatric nurses. She also runs a part-time clinical practice (Healthy mind Consultants Limited). She is the Immediate Past President, Eastern Africa Young Psychiatrists & Trainees Association. She is current Vice President for Africa, World Association for Psycho social Rehabilitation. She does Mental Health Promotion on print and electronic media.She co- authored a chapter in the African textbook of Clinical psychiatry and Mental health.
